I am interested in being an on-ice official but I have never officiated before. Am I still eligible to apply? Yes, you are. Having prior officiating experience is not necessary, however helpful. We offer a full course in officiating that every official will go through.

I am under 18, why do you need a copy of my school transcript? At Hat Trick Sports, we want employees who are hard workers in all aspects of their life. We believe that school must come first to ensure yourself a bright future.

How long does it normally take to hear back? If you have not heard back from us within two weeks we have most likely already filled that position. We do keep applications on file for six (6) months in-case a position fills up.

I am currently a player in the 3v3 league. Does this effect my chance for employment? If you are applying as an on-ice official, it will actually help your chance as you already have knowledge of the rules. The more you are around our facility, the more you know the ins and outs. We would love for you to apply!
